The Nexus 1 Squared Deck is Drone’s new flagship deck, which is the perfect match for progressive street scooter riders. The Nexus is one of the lightest street decks with a new concept that mixes adaptive geometry and tougher materials to make a super durable yet ultra-light deck.
Drone’s Nexus 1 extruded neck has been designed with a wider based to account for the stresses of large moments of force created by a larger footplate. The head tube has been simplified to make sure the welding area between the neck and head tube is optimized. It also features weight-reducing fluting and perforated extrusion cut-outs. The deck has a steel feather-light brake, and a single hex key tightening aluminum back ends. The two grind plates on the bottom of the deck will increase stability while grinding by reducing drag or hang-ups, and the blunt plate is integrated into the neck of the deck.
